JULIE GARDINER
Julie is F&G's founder and remains core to the team. With the beginnings of her career in data analytics, her user research background underpinned her work at advertising agencies for multinational brands and parastatals in South Africa and the UK. She's worked on product marketing, trend forecasting and in founding three start-ups including a sensory design agency and a retail collective showcasing and mentoring exclusively South African designers and manufacturers.

NEIL GARDINER
Neil’s experience spans a number of industries and roles in advertising, editorial (tech), content, marketing & brand strategy. He has worked for large agencies on multinational brands and in two start-up environments, one of which he co-led the company’s preparation for acquisition. He has a passion for endurance sports and has competed at elite level in cycling and triathlon, both locally and in Europe. He's still deeply involved in in these pursuits both as a marketer and participant.
